Metadata: Tags and Custom Filters

When your library contains many files and you want to organize them in a structured way, metadata is a great option. Metadata, such as tags and custom filters, give you the possibility to retrieve files quickly and get the file you need in seconds.

Tags

Tags are a type of keywords that help you search and find files in the whole library. You can change or add more tags for each file, e.g. you can tag files according to an ongoing marketing campaign, e.g. "Road Show London". In order to see, add or change tags just click on the file and open the Metadata tab on the right-hand side.

You can see an overview of the tags currently used in your library, as well as the number of files currently using that tag in the Library settings (click on your initials at the top-right corner, then select Settings > Library settings).

Custom filters

Custom filters are another type of metadata. Basically, you can create a custom filter (with a relative drop-down menu) that will be visible in the library to retrieve specific files.

You can see an overview of the custom filters currently available in your library in the Library settings (click on your initials at the top-right corner, then select Settings > Library settings).
