In some cases, you might need to be able to download files from your Gelato account. This is controlled by the permission "Upload files" which gives you the ability to both upload AND download files. More information on roles and permissions can be found here.
The files stored in Gelato will be downloaded as PDFs, with the exception of editable templates that will be downloaded as InDesign packages.
You can download files directly from your library or files that have been ordered - more on this below:
Downloading files from your library
In order to download a file from your library, go to your library, select the file you wish to download and either:
1. Hover the mouse on the more options button (3 dots) and click on Download file, or
2. Click on the file to open the file detail page and click on the Download icon at the top right of the screen.
Downloading files that have been ordered
In order to download a file that you ordered, go to your order history (click on Orders from the left menu), select the order that contains the file you wish to download, open the order detail page and click on the file. Finally, click on the Download button at the top right corner of the screen.
